POLICIES

• Your attendance in any La Vie Fitness class implies consent given to be captured in video or photography by staff members or media sources. La Vie Fitness reserves the right to use all materials (photos, videos and audio recordings), without restriction in promotional materials, advertising, news articles, website content, social media and any other manner of marketing.

• If a member prefers not to have their image captured while participating in any class, they reserve the right to advise a staff member or teacher prior to the beginning of their assigned class.

• All classes must be pre-booked, no walk-ins will be allowed.

• Please cancel class if you are feeling sick or have a fever over 100.4, have anyone at home who is sick, or have been exposed to anyone who is ill.  You should continue to stay at home until you are not experiencing any symptoms. If you have been exposed to someone with COVID, we ask that you do not attend class for 2 weeks.  

• Please do not arrive to class more than 10 minutes before your session. The instructor will prop open the front door when it is time to enter the studio for class.  Maintain social distancing if you are waiting outside.

• Wash your hands prior to class or utilize hand sanitizer.  Try not to touch personal items once your hands have been cleaned (this includes your phone).

• Utilize wipes to thoroughly wipe down machines prior to class.

• Maintain social distance with other clients and the instructor. 

• After class, wash your hands in the restroom or sanitize them, gather your belongings, and exit from the north entrance.

• The machines will be cleaned after each class. 

• We love children, but for their safety they will not be allowed in the studio during class (exceptions for infants in carriers).

• Cancellation policy is 4 hours prior to class start time. If you are feeling ill, please be considerate and contact us to cancel your class.  Otherwise a late cancel or no-show fee of $15 will be assessed per occurrence. We are a small studio and cannot afford to have empty machines in class.

• The waitlist IS reserving a spot in class. If you are unable to make the class, please remove your spot on the waitlist

• Member agrees and understands that all scheduling and class booking will be conducted via the Gym Master app. A valid debit/credit card is required for all accounts. WE DO NOT RECOMMEND SHOWING UP FOR A CLASS WITHOUT BOOKING THROUGH THE APP, AS WE MAY NOT HAVE AN AVAILABLE SPOT FOR YOU!

• All class sales are final. Classes are not eligible for transfer, refund or exchange.

• Member agrees to abide by La Vie Fitness' dress code at all time. This includes, but not limited to, wearing grip socks while on a Lagree Machine. Members are not allowed to walk around bare-foot. Closed toe shoes is required for all classes performed with free weights. 

• Member agrees that Member shall not use loud or profane language upon the La Vie Fitness premises nor shall Member molest, badger, assault, or harass other members, guests, contractors, or employees. If Member engages in such behavior, Member's membership shall be subject to immediate cancellation.

• Member understands that La Vie Fitness prohibits the use of any drugs, steroids, or alcohol. Member agrees not to use any drugs, steroids, or alcohol on La Vie Fitness premises. 

• Member agrees that all 3 Month Contracts require a written signature for cancellation of contract. Member understands that a Cancellation Request Form must be submitted 3 (business) days prior to renewal date. Forms submitted after the deadline will be processed after the next billing cycle. 

• Member agrees that all 3 Month Contracts will be limited to a 3 month Hold/Freeze period. A Hold/Freeze can be extended beyond the 3 month period with a valid doctors excuse. Memberships will automatically reactivate after the 3 month time frame. Member must wait 1 payment cycle before being eligible for another Hold/Freeze. 

• Member agrees to abide by the Late Cancel and No Show policies at La Vie Fitness. A Late Cancel Fee is charged if Member cancels a class within 4 hours prior to start time. Member understands that a $10 Late Cancel Fee will be charged. Member understands to avoid a Late Cancel Fee, Member must cancel class before the 4 hour time-frame. A No Show Fee is charged if Member fails to show up for a scheduled class. Member understands that a $15 No Show Fee will be charged. Member understands that Member is responsible for cancelling necessary booking via Gym Master app. 

• Member understands that Sessions and Memberships are nonrefundable.

• Members understand that instructors and classes are subject to change without notice.

• Member agrees to immediately report to the staff any issues or problems, that may result in harm to themself or others. 

• Member authorizes La Vie Fitness and their authorized designees to contact them by email, telephone, or by other means. 

• La Vie Fitness retains the right to modify these policies without warning. Reasonable rules and regulations may be posted in the Monthly Newsletter or at La Vie Fitness from time to time and all Members shall be subject to strict compliance therewith.

• Member understands that this facility will be under recorded video surveillance, which may be retained by La Vie Fitness for subsequent review, if deemed necessary. 

• Member agrees to be respectful of the equipment at La Vie Fitness. Member understands that negligent actions toward equipment WILL result in the termination of Membership, and access to the facility.

• Members are required to follow the instructions of the instructor at all times. 

Member agrees to the responsibility to determine if Member is capable of undergoing a routine of exercises provided by any program followed or class attended. Members accept the risk of injury from performing exercises and using specialist equipment and are advised to consult their doctor prior to beginning any session. Advice provided by our instructors at no time constitutes medical advice in substitute for advice provided by a medical professional. 

• Personal belongings are brought onto the Studio premises at the Member's own risk and the Studio does not accept liability for any loss or damage whatsoever to such items. 

• If Member does not arrive at the start of the scheduled class time, Member forfeits their reservation and spot in class. If Member used a credit to book in, Member will forfeit their credit. If Member is on a monthly or yearly membership, unlimited 2 week trial, or auto renew, Member will be charged a Late Cancel fee of $10. 

• La Vie Fitness urges Member to obtain a physical examination from a doctor before using any exercise equipment or participating in any exercise classes. All exercises inside and outside of the La Vie Fitness, premises, including the use of free weights and use of any and all machinery, equipment, and apparatus designed for exercising shall be at the Member's sole risk.

• La Vie Fitness, reserves the right to refuse access to any Member if, in its absolute discretion, it considers that the health of the individual concerned may be endangered by the use of Studio facilities.

• Clients must be at least 16 years old to attend classes. Any client under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
